Private Tours

►  What is a private tour?

A private tour is the most exclusive way to discover Kyiv and Ukraine. You and your group have your own dedicated guide and your own chauffeur — the perfect combination for a personal, unhurried experience.

The tour is entirely for your party, meaning you set the pace, ask the questions you genuinely want answered, and explore the city on your own terms. Private tours often offer better value than group tours: the larger your party, the greater the savings.

►  What time do tours start?

You choose the start time — tours run every day of the year, at any hour. Early morning, afternoon or evening tours are all available. We also offer late-night tours for guests arriving on overnight flights. Please enquire for pricing outside standard hours.

►  Where will you collect me from?

All private tours include complimentary pick-up and drop-off at any hotel, apartment or address in central Kyiv. If you are staying outside the centre, please mention this when booking and we will confirm the details.

►  Will we get out of the vehicle, or is it a drive-by tour?

Definitely not just a drive-by. Our guides and chauffeurs make frequent stops throughout the tour so you can explore key sites on foot, take photographs and enjoy the atmosphere of each location at your own pace — while the chauffeur waits nearby.

We also welcome guests with reduced mobility and are happy to adapt the route and pace accordingly.

►  Are lunch and entrance fees included?

Lunch and entrance fees are not included in the tour price. Tours of 5 hours or more include a lunch break — your guide will recommend the best nearby restaurants based on your preferences. Some guests prefer a proper sit-down meal; others prefer a quick bite and more time for sightseeing. Either way, the break is entirely at your leisure.

►  What vehicles do you use?

Standard fleet: comfortable, modern, air-conditioned vehicles suitable for individuals, couples and small groups.

Upgraded fleet: Toyota Land Cruiser Prado, Mercedes C & E Class, and Mercedes V Class minibuses for larger groups. Please specify your preferred vehicle class when enquiring so we can provide an accurate quote.

►  Do you offer tours in other languages?

Yes. Our team of multilingual guides conducts tours in English, Ukrainian, Russian, Spanish, French, Italian, Polish, German, Czech, Dutch, Turkish, Arabic, Hebrew, Chinese, Japanese and other languages. As availability varies, we recommend booking in advance — especially for less common languages.

General Questions

►  Are there any hidden fees?

No. The price you are quoted is the price you pay. We do not add service charges, booking fees or surcharges of any kind. The only additional costs are entrance fees to monuments or museums if you choose to visit them, and lunch, which is at your own expense.

►  How do I make a booking?

You can book online via our booking form, by email at kyivtrip.com.ua@gmail.com, or by phone. We recommend booking in advance, especially during holidays and peak travel periods, to ensure your preferred date and guide are available.

►  Can I change a confirmed booking?

Yes, changes can be made up to 48 hours before the tour start time. If you need to increase the number of guests, we will accommodate this subject to availability and any difference in fare. If the number of guests decreases, no additional charge applies and no refund is due on the original fare.

►  Is a tip expected?

We do not add a service charge to any of our prices. Gratuity is entirely optional and is a personal gesture directly from you to your guide and driver. If you felt the team went above and beyond, a tip is always appreciated — but never expected or assumed.
